The interview process begins long before you start your professional career search. From interviews for college to internships to your actual first job-you sometimes interview before you even realize it. Networking is an interview. Dating is an interview; albeit a much different interview but still an interview. You have a short window of time to impress your interviewer, while at the same time, they also have a short window of time to convince you as to whether or not you want to be a part of their team. Interview questions, when asked well, can tell you more about a person-and a potential employer-in less than an hour than most learn about a person in a year. Talley Management Group, Inc. has compiled a list of the best interview questions we’ve ever been asked as an interviewee and why you should incorporate them before adding your new hire to your payroll.
This month was an exciting one here at Talley, we had our annual Bug Out event that we hosted at our headquarters this year. Many employees brought family members to share in on the fun, which included food trucks, the moon bounce, hula hoop contests and all-around fun. Thank you to Ashley Duffy for organizing and Gregg Talley for hosting another fantastic family friendly event where the Talley team was able to come together and enjoy the summer fun. We were even able to raise money for ASPCA during the event from our employees, and we will continue to do so throughout August in the office.
As our company grows and innovates to stay current with our client’s needs, as well as for our own corporate success, so must each and every individual staff innovate and evolve. Some of the first questions we ask each client: are they on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Facebook? Do they blog? Further, how are they leveraging new media to reach out to their constituents? We recognize the importance of this wide open communication model to each of our clients and so why not ourselves?
