Melissa Baldwin, CAE, Executive Director, has been in the association management industry for more than 24 years and worked with several professional societies, trade organizations and certification boards. She is currently serving as executive director for two client partners at Talley Management Group.

Since beginning her association management career, Melissa has worked for two well respected association management companies. She quickly progressed in her profession, starting as an administrative assistant then a program manager, and advancing to an assistant executive director and then executive director.

Melissa has worked with several nonprofit organizations to exceed their strategic goals in the areas of operations, membership, meeting attendance and educational events/services. Her strengths lie in her attention to detail, ability to organize and manage operations, and work collaboratively with volunteer leaders.

Melissa graduated from Western Maryland College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 2010 and continues to broaden her nonprofit knowledge and experience. Melissa is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives.

When she is not working, Melissa enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends, and Golden Retriever Lola.
